Meapy is an Employee Assistance Program platform: employees confidentially request help from mental, legal, financial and physical wellbeing experts, while employers only ever see anonymized usage. We built the full workflow, tickets and expert dossiers, contract session-hour pools alongside direct payment, a built-in learning platform and a four-language content system.
Challenges & Solutions
A hard privacy wall between employer and employee
Employers fund the program but may never see who sought help or why. That wall had to be structural, enforced in the data model and every endpoint, not just promised in a policy.
Role-based access with anonymized reporting
Four strict roles separate employees, experts, employers and administrators. Employer dashboards expose only aggregates, sensitive fields are encrypted, and every access is audit-logged.
Two payment models in one booking flow
Companies buy session-hour pools per support category; individuals pay directly. The same ticket flow had to consume the right entitlement without double-booking or overdrawing pools.
Contract pools plus direct checkout
Per-category session pools track entitlements and consumed minutes against company contracts, with seamless fallback to direct online payment for individual users.
01. Domain & Privacy Design
We modelled the EAP workflow with the employer/employee privacy wall as a first-class constraint.
02. Ticket & Expert Flow
Employees request support by category; experts accept, manage dossiers and log sessions with employee feedback closing the loop.
03. Contracts & Billing
Company session pools, consumption tracking and direct checkout were built as one coherent billing layer.
04. Content & Learning
A built-in course platform with quizzes and a four-language blog CMS support prevention, not just intervention.
Employees get help in full confidence, and we finally see, anonymized, that the program is actually being used. That balance is exactly what an EAP needs.
